STEAM ENGINES

The main attraction!
Over 90 full size steam engines attended our 2024 Weeting Steam Engine Rally & Country Show, we had a good variety of rollers, traction engines, showmans' and steam wagons, all here and steamed up for our three day show. Every year you can watch the steam engine parade, daily in the main ring, you can't miss the whistle up!
Public steering will be available, your chance to steer a steam engine and ask the drivers questions. (limited places, be sure to queue!)
In 2025 we will be celebrating the East Anglian Traction Engine Society's 70th anniversary with an East Anglian special. We'd love to see some East Anglian engines return to the area and exhibit with us next year!

Saturday in the main ring, we have the traditional Slow Race, always a great competition for engine drivers, and fun to watch.
We'll also have around 100 model steam engines on show, along with the miniature steam railway offering rides.

WORKING STEAM

See steam engines being put to work
Taking you back in time with our working steam demonstrations, we have steam ploughing, thrashing and baling, wood sawing, stone crushing and road making.
Steam locomotive "Little Barford" will be running up and down the track for you to experience the sights and sounds of a steam train.
And don't forgot to watch out for the showmans' engines they'll be working the fairground rides.

CLASSIC, VINTAGE & MILITARY VEHICLES

Petrol heads heaven!
From vintage cars, motorcycles and commercials to the military vehicles and classic cars, there's sure to be one set of wheels that catches your eye.
Parading in the main ring over the weekend, or parked up in their sections you'll be able to have a good look around these vehicles and talk to the owners.

TRACTORS

Combining to ploughing, out in the field
We have over 100 tractors of all types exhibiting with us every year and they'll be parading in the main ring over the weekend. You can also watch vintage combines and other harvesting machinery working in our Harvest Field.
We'll also have the mini tractor pullers putting on a great show!
In 2025 we will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of Caterpillar.

FIRE ENGINES

Hot stuff!
Our fire engine section includes old and new vehicles. We have vintage fire engines alongside the up to date technology of the local "on call" fire engines, that can leave the site at any time! Watch the fire engine displays in the main ring, and the skill of firemen tackling fires, and enjoy their sirens as the race around the ring.

HEAVY HORSES

Magnificent creatures
Watch the heavy horses displays throughout the day in their own area, and spend time with them for a more close up and hands on view. These beautiful giants will be showing their vast strength pulling implements. All four main breeds of heavy horse are represented over the weekend.

FUNFAIR

Old and new, day and night!
From the exhilarating thrill of the skids, to the gentler pace of the gallopers, we have fairground rides and stalls for all ages, this year we have a big wheel returning to the rally field. See the fair come alive at night with all the lights and sounds.

FOOD & DRINK

Keeping you fueled and refreshed
We have plenty on site to keep you fed and watered throughout your visit, with two bar tents run by Amerio's Bar and the Burrell restaurant tent run by Fengate Forge.

We also have a food area with various eateries, from Fish 'n' Chips to Hog Roast to Donuts and more, there's options to keep you going through the day.

TRADE STANDS AND A CRAFT & FOOD MARQUEE

Shop until you drop!
We have a large trade section, with 90 stands, there's plenty of shopping options, along with a craft, drink and food marquee. Spend time browsing through the offerings of our traders over the weekend.

LOTS TO SEE AND DO AT WEETING STEAM RALLY

There's so much more than listed here...
We also have displays of chainsaw carving, stationary engines, various exhibits, FREE children's entertainment in 'The Hub' and a Finnish steam locomotive and more!
There really is so much to see and do across the Rally site, with our tractor bus you can explore the site getting on and off at the various bus stops for FREE, spend the day or weekend exploring and enjoying yourselves.
