Here at Weeting Steam Engine Rally, we pride ourselves in the quantity of steam engines that exhibit with us, we always have a good variety (always lots of Burrells), with plenty of working demonstrations, and the engines are allowed to move freely around the site, so you can always see them in action!
We may be located in the heart of 'Burrell' country but we've had steam engines from Allchin through to Zettelmeyer!
Below are photos of the variety of makes of steam engines that attended our 2024 rally.

The oldest steam engine that attended was a Burrell built in 1877, and the newest a Sentinel built in 1936. From agricultural steam engines to showman's there's always a variety to see when you visit our three day event in July.
It's called 'Burrell' country because Weeting is located in Norfolk, not that far from Thetford, where the St. Nicholas Works manufactured Burrell steam engines, with the first being made in 1846 up until they closed in 1930, with the last Burrell engine being finished at Garrett & Sons in Leiston, Suffolk, in 1932.
Be sure to BOOK YOUR TICKETS for this year and come along to see another great variety of steam engines on show!!!
You can visit the Charles Burrell Museum in Thetford, which is housed in the original Paint Shop from St. Nicholas Works.
